Dot Map
Fall 2020

Dot Map is the end-product of a design challenge: How can you map a journey entirely from memory? Repeated circles act as the only visual element in the drawing, simplifying the short walk from the RISD Beach to the Providence Pedestrian Bridge down to its most essential yet readable form.

Variations in color provide all key context for the map: dark grey indicate streets, blue indicates waterways, green indicates parks, and yellow indicates the path of the actual trip taken.
